Tirlok Malik is a veteran producer and actor. He has a Bachelor's degree in business from Delhi University and has also attended the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts and the Actor's Institute. He founded his own production company, Apple Productions, in 1989. He produced and starred in the movie Lonely in America (1990), which was directed by Barry Alexander Brown and featured a cameo by Spike Lee . Lonely in America has appeared in 74 countries, 32 film festivals, and on HBO. Malik has appeared in numerous commercials and in several off-off- Broadway plays, including: "The Indian Wants the Bronx", "The Hot'l Baltimore" and "A Better Tomorrow". Most recently, he played the role of "Krishna" in the 3-D film, Little Magician (2002). He currently lives in New York City.
